Send us the STL. We'll split oversized models, print in matte PLA that's ready to sand and paint, and ship it to your door in time for your con. Flat $20 CAD shipping to anywhere in Canada.
What we print
Pre-split or we split for you. Inner shells and comfort pads printable in flexible TPU.
Pauldrons, greaves, chestplates, vambraces. Printed with low infill to keep wearable weight down.
Swords, blasters, staves, wands. Hollowed models save filament and weight. Con-ready (non-functional) only.
Clips, brooches, belt buckles, pauldron mounts, emblems. Great filler jobs while the big piece is printing.
If your model is bigger than 256 mm in any axis, we'll slice it into printable sections with alignment pins for assembly.
Print a scale test in cheap PLA to check fit before committing to the full piece in matte. Saves filament, saves time.
Material picks
The cosplay default. Matte finish hides layer lines, sands smooth, takes primer and acrylic paints cleanly. Low-warp so big flat pieces come out flat.
$0.14 CAD / g
When you don't need to paint (it's already the right color) or want a gloss finish. Widest color selection, cheapest, fastest to print.
$0.12 CAD / g
For the acetone-smoothing crowd. Fumes require ventilation but the finish is legendary — looks injection-molded. Also the go-to for heat-critical props (anything near a lamp or in direct sun).
$0.16 CAD / g
Flexible armor backing, soft-ish straps, segment connectors that need a little give. Tougher than PLA; shrugs off knocks at a con.

FAQ
Yes. Our build volume is 256 × 256 × 256 mm — most helmet models already come pre-split for FDM printing. If yours doesn't, we can split it for you at no extra charge. Ship it in sections, glue with CA or epoxy, bondo the seams, sand smooth, paint.
PLA Matte is the cosplay default — rigid, sands well, holds paint, and the matte finish hides layer lines. For larger armor pieces where weight matters, we can print at lower infill to keep them wearable. PETG for flexible backing straps. ABS if you plan to acetone-smooth.
Typical half-helmet (like a Mandalorian bucket) runs ~$80–150 CAD printed in PLA Matte depending on wall thickness and infill. Full helmets with inner shell $150–250. Email us a link to the model file and we'll give you a hard quote before you commit.
Yes — up to 4 colors per print via our multi-material AMS. Useful for emblems, logos, accent plates. Multi-color adds a small per-change material surcharge because of purge waste. Single-color and paint-after is usually cheaper.
Plan at least 2–3 weeks before the event for a full costume. A single helmet prints in 20–40 hours of machine time. If you've got a full set of armor, order piece-by-piece as you finish painting rather than all at once — keeps your pipeline moving.
MakerWorld, Thingiverse, Printables, Cults3D, Thangs, and paid Patreon creators (Galactic Armory, Etsy, Kirby Downey) all have cosplay-ready files. Upload whatever you have — STL, 3MF, or OBJ. If you've only got a STEP file or a CAD export, email us and we'll convert.
